We are now 1.5 years on and last week I had my last treatment. 4 to 6 x is average, unfortunately I was way above average! Small setback, fortunately financially it is well taken care of. I paid for 6 x and all treatments beyond this are covered by GoHair.
The result is super, I had to be patient but it is wonderful to have no stubble and not constantly think of “having” to shave!

At goHair, two friendly knowledgeable ladies work in a neat salon. They always give clear explanations beforehand about what they are going to do and what to expect. They work carefully and react alertly if the treatment is a bit painful. The pain is not that bad if you compare it to epilation. Whole body takes about 1.5 hours at a time and just your upper lip only takes a minute.
After treatment, your skin feels soft and 2 weeks after treatment you will be hair and stubble free for several weeks to a month.
With me, it definitely takes more than the current 5 treatments before most of the hairs stay gone permanently. Yet I already notice that a spontaneous day at the beach or sauna is possible without having to shave for hours beforehand. And what a treat never to have those bumps after shaving or tweezing again and also my Fred Flintstone look (those dark spots where hair grows under the skin) is a thing of the past!
Start on time because gray hair does not react to the treatment.

I have been cherishing my wish to become ‘hairless’ on certain parts of my body for some time. In April 2012, I had my first appointment at GoHair. I had made this appointment based on a brochure I had found on my doormat. Since I had been trying for years to get rid of unwanted hairs on my bikini line in various ways, I thought it would be a good idea to see to what extent GoHair could offer a solution. I had my first appointment with Alexandra and over a nice cup of coffee she explained to me how things worked and what the differences were between IPL and laser. The way Alexandra explained everything to me gave me a good impression and I also got the idea that this could be the solution. During the appointment I had my first treatment, not just a few test shots but the whole area. I must honestly say that beforehand I had no idea what to expect. I was 100 percent better than expected. Treatment I find not very painful. The only annoying thing is the smell of burned hair, otherwise I don’t find it painful or anything. After the first treatment I was very enthusiastic. No itching, no pain and immediate results because hair comes back much thinner, softer and slower. Really highly recommended!
Now a year later, in addition to the bikini line, I have also had my upper lip and armpits treated. Results from armpits seem to be very fast and good. I am also satisfied with the upper lip and bikini line, although the bikini line keeps getting unwanted hairs. I will have to have this treated again soon. Regarding the upper lip: treatment via laser is much more pleasant than treatment with rosin, which I did not do before. Also highly recommended!

After a clear intake conversation about what to expect, I started upper lip hair removal last year.
I was treated with care. No risk is taken with the client if, like me at the time, they come back from vacation too tanned. Then the treatment is postponed.
Since I am in transition, and my excessive hair is in the family and persistent, I also had to use the half-year guarantee after the treatment. This is not a problem at all.

In October 2013 I started laser treatments on my lower legs. Now at the end of June I have had my 6th treatment. All I can say is, I should have done this years earlier. I had been thinking about lasering for a while and am glad I finally took the step to go to GoHair. During an initial consultation it was clearly explained how it works and what I could expect. The atmosphere is pleasant, you are listened to carefully and together we look for the best solution. After a few treatments the result was amazing; I haven’t shaved my legs for a few months! Some parts of my body are not yet “finished” and with the fixed price guarantee I didn’t have to pay anything more for the last treatments. We will now continue until everything is perfect. I love that I can now spontaneously put on shorts or go to the pool. I don’t have to think about anything anymore and feel a lot freer. As a tip for anyone who is still unsure, I would like to pass along a good look at the devices used. Some organizations offer lasers cheaper, but these work with different techniques. The hairs are not removed permanently, but things are damaged. I have heard stories of people who are still having treatments (and have to pay over and over again) and the results are nothing compared to the results I see on myself. In this case, cheap is expensive anyway. Better to pay a lot once and be sure it is done right, than to pay less and experience misery. I am very satisfied with the result and very glad I went into GoHair. Soon I’ll be going on vacation with an emptier toiletry bag, because I’m leaving razor blades and shaving cream at home!

Over a year ago, I came in to have my bikini line lasered. Always suffering from dark, stiff, ingrown hairs… I was completely done with it. When I heard that after 6 laser treatments you get a baby skin in return, I was very curious. But nothing could be further from the truth! I am so glad I took this step! It costs something, but then you have something. Now and then some hair still comes back (due to hormonal fluctuations), but not as dark and coarse as it used to be. After 1 laser treatment it is gone. The treatment is a bit sensitive, but not painful. I find it to be quite manageable! After my bikini line, I also had several other areas treated. Although I am not quite done yet, I have already gained more self-confidence. I now dare to get into bikini again and don’t worry so much during the summer months. In addition, I find that Alexandra and Samantha are very knowledgeable and professional. I don’t have to be ashamed with them. I always had the feeling that I was the only one with hair everywhere, but they don’t notice anything and have seen a lot over the years. This gives me a nice feeling.
